Most of these arrive by email, worded carefully, usually with an apology in front of them. There is nothing to apologise for — they are the right questions. Here are the honest answers, before you have to ask.
Never been in front of a camera. Most of our clients hadn’t, the first time.
Bring two or three outfits per hour. Solids are a safe base — busy patterns get lost against a busy backdrop. Not sure? Say so when you enquire and we’ll plan the looks around your location. We often bring extra options along too.
You don’t need to. The first time feels like writing with your opposite hand — everyone’s does. We demonstrate every pose and cue as we go, tilting our own chin so you can see the angle. Need a break at any point, take one.
For anything intimate, you decide who is on set. We usually both work it because we are watching different things — light, hair, wardrobe, direction — but your comfort outranks that. No explanations needed, no hurt feelings.
Glamour and boudoir sessions are closed sets, and anyone on set may stop the session at any point.
Only us. We do all our own editing — no outside retouchers, ever — and nothing of yours goes anywhere without your say-so.
Every frame from the session, colour-corrected, in a password-protected gallery. You pick your favourites and we finish those — five finished edits for every hour we shoot, so a three-hour session is fifteen, and taking the free fourth hour makes it twenty. JPEGs, no watermark, yours to download and keep.
If a frame isn’t you, you simply don’t choose it.
Usually two to three days from the shoot. Busy season can stretch it to a week.
What it costs, how a date gets held, and what happens if plans change.
Sessions are priced by length, not by genre — a fitness hour and a boudoir hour cost the same. From $500 for a one-hour session up to $2,500 for a full day. Brand, video and VIP day work is quoted to scope; tell us what you need and we’ll price it.
No. The form is an enquiry, and nothing is held by sending it. We reply within 24 hours with rates and availability, and a session is confirmed when a date is agreed and the deposit is paid.
Usually about two weeks. That moves with the season, so ask — if you have a date in mind, say it in the form and we’ll tell you straight away whether it is open.
In Miami: tell us at least 48 hours ahead and we move your deposit to a new date, once, at no charge. Inside 48 hours the deposit is forfeit.
On a travel date: two weeks. When we fly somewhere we book flights and studio time around a small number of confirmed sessions, so a late cancellation there costs more than a date at home. Two weeks’ notice and we move the deposit once, at no charge.
Inside two weeks the deposit is forfeit — but we will still try to fit you in elsewhere in the same travel window, or carry the deposit to a future date or city. That is us choosing to, rather than something you are owed, and we would rather say so than let you assume either way.
The deposit is non-refundable because holding a date means turning others away.
If we cancel an outdoor session for weather, or a travel date falls through on our end, you reschedule at no cost or take a full refund of the deposit. Your call. Full detail is in the terms.
We’re based in Miami. We’re in Los Angeles several times a year and travel nationwide for booked work — tell us where you are and we’ll let you know when we’re next close.
Who owns what, what gets published, and how to change your mind.
Only if you have said yes. We ask in writing after your gallery has been delivered, never at booking, so that you are choosing from photographs you have actually seen rather than ones that do not exist yet. Sign nothing and the answer is no — which changes nothing about your session, your gallery, or your files.
Saying yes is mutual rather than one-way. It gives both of us the same freedom to use the images you picked to promote ourselves: you post them, we post them. Copyright stays with us and your personal licence stays with you — what opting in adds is that each of us may show the work.
There is a second way of saying yes, and it is fairer to be plain about it than to leave it unsaid: if you publish an image from your session on a public account, we may use that image too. Repost it, put it on the site, keep it in the portfolio. Once you have shown a frame to the world yourself, we take it as one you are happy to be seen in.
Neither of those covers nude, implied-nude or partial-nude work, and neither covers anyone under 18. Those images are permitted one at a time, in writing, in advance — or not at all. A public post is never consent for them, no matter who posted it.
Yes — at any time, in writing, without giving a reason. We take the images down from anywhere we have used them, and we tell you when it is done. If you would also like your gallery gone, we delete it and the files move to an encrypted drive nobody can access.
That includes an image you opened up by posting it yourself. Telling us to stop is enough; you do not have to delete your own post first, and we will not ask why.
The only things beyond our reach are copies already printed, already published by a third party, or already saved by someone else. We can stop using an image; we cannot recall what has already left our hands. The full policy is on the privacy page.
We hold the copyright — that is the default under US copyright law and the same arrangement every professional photographer works under. What you receive is a broad licence to use your images personally: print them, share them, post them, for as long as you like.
Sessions involving a minor are booked with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must be present for the whole session. A minor cannot give permission to publish their images; only a parent or guardian can, on the same withdrawable terms as everyone else.
We do not photograph or film boudoir, implied-nude or nude work involving anyone under 18, under any circumstances.
The editing side of the studio.
Not quite. The packs are finished and the store is built, but it isn’t open — we would rather show you the work than take an order we can’t fill today. Look through the volumes and join the waitlist; you’ll hear the day it opens, and first in gets the launch pricing.
They’re a starting point, not a filter. Built for portrait, fashion, fitness and glamour work in natural and studio light — then you nudge exposure and white balance to taste. Every image is a little different; that’s the craft.
Ask it. One question in the form is enough to start — you don’t need a date, a package or a plan. A real person answers within 24 hours.
