Privacy Policy

This policy explains what LHGFX Photography (“LHGFX”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use this site, why we collect it, and who else touches it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

What we collect

• Booking enquiries. Your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, shoot type, experience level, preferred location, how you found us, and whatever you write in the notes field.
• Mailing list sign-ups. Name, email address, and the category you said you were most interested in.
• Preset waitlist. Your name, email address, and which preset volume you said you were most interested in, while the store is not yet open.
• Preset purchases. Your email address and payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Nothing else. This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no analytics or tracking pixels, and does not build a profile of you.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry and quote you a rate; to deliver presets you have paid for; to tell you the preset store has opened if you asked to be told; and, if you asked for it, to email you when a travel date or an offer opens up. That is the entire list.

Who else processes it

We use a small number of third parties to run this site. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Netlify — hosting and form submissions.
• Resend — sends the confirmation and rate-detail emails, and holds preset-waitlist addresses until the store opens.
• Google Sheets — holds preset-waitlist sign-ups so we can see who is waiting for what.
• Stripe — payment processing for preset purchases.
• Behold — renders our Instagram feed on the homepage.
• Google Fonts — serves the typefaces this site is set in.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

Photographs of you

Images from a paid session belong to the arrangement we agree with you in writing. We do not publish, print, or post images of a client without that client’s written permission — including on this site and on our social accounts. If you have given permission and later change your mind, email us and we will take the images down.

How long we keep things

Booking enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Mailing-list entries are kept until you unsubscribe. Preset-waitlist sign-ups are kept until the store opens and we have told you about it — after that, you stay on the list only if you choose to; you can ask to come off at any time, and the announcement email carries an unsubscribe link. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you — at any time, for any reason, without explaining why. Email harry@lhgfxmedia.com and we will action it. Every marketing email also has an unsubscribe link.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Sessions involving a minor are booked and attended by a parent or guardian.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
