These terms cover two different things we sell: Lightroom presets, which are instant digital downloads, and photography sessions, which are booked time. The rules are different for each, so they are set out separately.
Preset packs are delivered as an instant download. The link is emailed to you as soon as your payment clears. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
Refunds on presets. Because presets are delivered instantly and cannot be returned once downloaded, sales are final. By completing checkout you agree that delivery begins immediately and you therefore waive any statutory right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to digital content.
That said: if a file will not download, will not install, or is not what the page said it was, email harry@lhgfxmedia.com. We will fix it, replace it, or refund it. We would rather you were happy than technically correct.
Copyright in the photographs stays with LHGFX Photography. You receive a licence to use your delivered images personally and, where agreed in writing, commercially.
We do not publish images of you unless you have consented. That applies to this website, our social accounts, print, and anything else. Consent is given in writing, after your gallery is delivered, on the permission form we send you.
Consent is a mutual promotional licence. Opting an image in gives you and LHGFX Photography the same freedom to use that image to promote ourselves. It transfers nothing: copyright remains with LHGFX Photography and your personal licence is unaffected.
Publishing an image yourself consents to our use of it. Where you publish a photograph from your session on a publicly visible account, you agree that LHGFX Photography may also use that photograph for its own promotional purposes, including on this website, in our portfolio, and on our social accounts. This extends only to photographs taken by us at your session.
Excluded in every case: nude, implied-nude and partial-nude photographs, and any photograph of a person under 18. These require separate written consent for each image, given in advance, and self-publication never constitutes that consent.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by emailing us, without reason, including for images you published yourself. We will take the images down from anywhere we have used them. We cannot recall copies already printed, already published by a third party, or already saved by someone else.
Glamour and boudoir sessions are closed sets. You decide who is in the room, including whether one or both of us shoot. Anyone on set may stop the session at any point, and we will end a session immediately if anyone is made to feel unsafe. In that circumstance the deposit is not refunded if the reason sits with the client.
Our liability for any session or purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
