I have already booked a photographer for the show.
Good, your stage is covered. A stage photographer shoots an event you are in, under show lighting, on the show schedule. A private session is time with us working only on you. We direct, we pick the location, you pick the wardrobe. Plenty of competitors do both. Keep your photographer for Saturday and book us for Thursday, Friday or Sunday.
Is this worth it on top of everything the show already costs?
You have already paid for the prep, the coach, the suit, the tan and the travel. The photos are the one part you still have a year from now. If money is tight, book the one-hour Signature. You get both of us for the full hour and five finished images, and we will recommend it to you if it fits your goal.
When exactly is my tan going to be a problem?
Once the glaze is on, we plan around it: no light-colored wardrobe, nothing pale to sit on, few changes, and we work fast. We shoot glazed competitors at every show. If you want several looks or more than one location, book before your tan, on Thursday or early Friday. Put your tan appointment on the form and we will tell you what each day suits.
I have never done a photoshoot. Will I look awkward?
No. We hear this before almost every first shoot. We were both models before we picked up cameras, so we know how the first ten minutes feel. We show you the pose where there is room and talk you through it where there isn't, and we stay on each pose until it works. You need no posing experience.
What language do you direct sessions in?
Mostly English. We have some basic Spanish, and we use a translation app when we need it. Where there is room, we also show you each pose ourselves, so you follow along by watching.
What do I get, and when?
Every frame from the session, color-graded, in a password-protected gallery. You choose your favorites and we finish five for every hour booked. JPEGs, no watermark, yours to download and keep. Expect them two to three days after the shoot, or up to a week after a show weekend. Your behind-the-scenes video footage comes the same day, by AirDrop or a shared link.
Who sees my images?
We edit your photographs ourselves. No outside retoucher touches them. We film behind the scenes in every session and send you the footage. Video is edited by us or by a collaborator working under our direction. Nothing from your private session, photo or video, is published without your yes. Where you have said yes to video, we make a reasonable effort to show you a clip first, and if you ask us to take something down, we do.
Is Monday available?
By request. Ask early, the earlier you ask the better your odds. Thursday, Friday and Sunday are open for sessions.
What if I need to change or cancel?
Tell us as early as possible and we will move you to an open slot if there is one. The week has three shooting days, so late changes are hard to fill. Your deposit holds a specific slot. It is not refundable once we have turned other competitors away for your time, but it moves with you to any open slot the same week.
